Abstract

The chapter delves into the issue of copyright infringements in we media, highlighting the rapid growth of user-generated content platforms in China. It introduces blockchain technology as a potential solution, discussing its security features and various applications in different industries. The Media Integration Blockchain, a platform developed by the Media Copyright Protection Association of China, is examined in detail. The chapter explores the strengths and limitations of this platform, offering four strategic suggestions to enhance its efficiency and user experience. These suggestions include using rewards to encourage user participation, collaborating with other blockchains, establishing a copyright trading system, and creating a credit system for users. The chapter concludes with a call for further research and development in this area, aiming to build a fairer and more equitable online environment for copyright protection.
