Abstract

The study delves into the electromagnetic wave absorption and mechanical properties of C/Al2O3 composites, emphasizing the crucial role of preparation cycles in balancing these characteristics. By iterating the impregnation and sintering process, the researchers observed significant changes in density, morphology, and electromagnetic properties. The first cycle enhanced wave absorption and compressive strength, while subsequent cycles improved hardness but diminished wave absorption capabilities. The findings offer valuable insights into optimizing these composites for applications requiring both high wave absorption and mechanical integrity.
