Abstract

The article delves into the application of artificial neural networks (ANNs) to predict the aerodynamic performance of airfoils, surpassing the limitations of traditional wind tunnel experiments. By utilizing a large experimental dataset and the Levenberg-Marquardt algorithm, the study demonstrates the ability to accurately predict lift and drag coefficients at wind speeds and angles of attack that exceed the physical capabilities of wind tunnels. The research highlights the potential of ANNs in enhancing the understanding and optimization of airfoil design, with practical applications in renewable energy and aerospace engineering.
