Abstract
This work focuses on the mechanism-based assessment of structural and functional behavior of Cottonid as sustainable natural fiber-reinforced biopolymer (NFRB) for implementation in technical applications, especially as construction material in the building and automotive industries. In the following, the findings out of the experimental results are summed up and an outlook on future invstigations is given.
