Abstract

The article presents a innovative approach to creating superhydrophobic carbon aerogel from banana stem waste for oil and organic adsorption and energy storage. This material, synthesized using zinc-doping and sodium alginate cross-linking, demonstrates high adsorption capacity and excellent electrochemical properties. The research highlights the potential of banana stem as a sustainable precursor for carbon aerogel, offering a green solution to environmental challenges and energy storage needs. The study includes detailed characterization and performance analysis, showcasing the versatility and efficiency of the developed material.
