Zusammenfassung

Agilität wird zunehmend als wichtige Fähigkeit für die Wettbewerbsfähigkeit von Organisationen dargestellt. Dieser Beitrag untersucht in einem ersten Schritt das Konstrukt Agilität aus einer wissenschaftlichen Perspektive. Durch eine Diskussion unterschiedlicher Untersuchungsansätze, eine Übersicht über relevante Definitionen und einer Abgrenzung zu verwandten Konstrukten wird zunächst versucht, das Wesen von „Agilität“ zu erfassen. In einem zweiten Schritt wird anhand eines Treibermodells dargestellt, wie Agilität als strategische Ressource aufgebaut werden kann und welche Aspekte diese Fähigkeit stärken bzw. schwächen.
