Abstract

The article delves into the challenges of low permeability in shale reservoirs and the limitations of conventional hydraulic fracturing. It introduces a innovative process that combines oxidation dissolution with acid fracturing to enhance shale gas production. The study includes experimental results demonstrating the widening of hydraulic fractures and improved permeability when oxidants are added to the fracturing fluid. The authors also provide a productivity analysis model and practical engineering suggestions for optimizing shale gas production.
