Abstract

The article delves into the synthesis and electrochemical sensing of paracetamol using poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene)/sulfonated cellulose composites in different solvent systems. It discusses the structural characterization of the composites, highlighting the influence of sulfonated cellulose on the morphology and electrochemical properties of the polymer. The study also explores the optimization of experimental conditions and the detection mechanisms of paracetamol, showcasing the enhanced sensitivity and selectivity of the composite-modified electrodes. The findings indicate that these composites hold promise for practical applications in the electrochemical detection of paracetamol, with the H2O system demonstrating superior performance.
