Abstract

The article explores the synthesis of ZnO/PrO2+Pr(OH)3 nanoparticles for solar photodegradation of mixed anionic and cationic dyes, addressing the global water pollution issue. The nanoparticles were characterized using various techniques and demonstrated high photocatalytic activity under natural solar irradiation. The study highlights the potential of these nanoparticles for efficient and cost-effective wastewater treatment, particularly in the textile industry. The unique combination of ZnO and PrO2+Pr(OH)3 enhances the photocatalytic performance, making it a promising solution for real-world applications.
