Abstract

The article delves into the synthesis and characterization of polypyrrole nanomaterials mediated by camphor sulphonic acid (CSA) for enhancing EMI shielding properties. It highlights the influence of CSA concentration on the morphology, structural properties, and electrical conductivity of the polypyrrole samples. The study also demonstrates the superior EMI shielding effectiveness of these materials, with total shielding effectiveness (SE T) exceeding 35 dB in the X-band frequency range, making them suitable for industrial applications. The absorption-dominant shielding mechanism and the potential for further enhancement with additional dopants are key findings that set this research apart from similar studies.
