Prof. Malte Jaensch, PhD MBA, (born 1976) studied general mechanical engineering at the Technical University of Braunschweig. After completing his doctorate at the Imperial College of London (United Kingdom) in the field of mechatronics, he established a start-up for electrical machines. He developed axial flow machines with EVO Electric that were used in racing cars and low-volume production. His completed his education with an Executive MBA at the Imperial College Business School in London. In 2013, he returned to Germany to build up and manage the area of electrical drives at Porsche Engineering. In the Fall of 2021, he accepted a post at the Technical University of Munich (TUM) where he now holds the chair at the Institute of Sustainable Mobile Drivetrains (NMA).
