Abstract

The article delves into the challenge of minimizing quantum resources for clients in Blind Quantum Computation (BQC), where powerful quantum servers are utilized. It explores methods to realize specific single-qubit operations with fewer qubits, leveraging the server's advanced quantum abilities. The authors introduce two models that can achieve this, one requiring the server to perform operations on qubits and the other involving auxiliary particles. These models not only reduce the client's quantum cost but also maintain the blindness of the computation from the server. The article also discusses how to integrate these models into the brickwork state, a key component in BQC, to further reduce the number of qubits required. Additionally, it provides an upper bound on the number of replaced bricks to ensure the server remains blind to the computation. The authors also address the importance of verifying the server's honesty and discuss potential eavesdropping detection methods. The article concludes by highlighting the significance of reducing the client's quantum cost and the potential for future research in multi-client and multi-server scenarios.
