Abstract

The article delves into the impacts of robot managers' reward and punishment behaviors on human-robot trust and job performance in collaborative teams. It highlights the significance of these behaviors in maintaining team behavioral norms and explores how they influence emotions, trust, and performance. The study employs a moderated mediation model to investigate the mediating effects of human emotions and the moderating effects of group relations. The findings reveal that reward behaviors enhance positive emotions and trust, while punishment behaviors increase negative emotions and reduce trust. The research also underscores the importance of group relations in human-robot interactions and the need for further exploration into task complexity and other management behaviors. The article concludes by emphasizing the guiding significance of the results for the development of human-robot collaborative teams and the management of human-robot interactions.
