The chapter investigates the effects of gender, viewing time, and game category on heart rate and presence in virtual reality games. Using a three-way mixed factorial design, the study examines how these factors influence physiological responses and user experience. The results indicate significant differences in heart rate and presence based on game category, with horror games eliciting the strongest responses.
