Abstract

Ruthenium nanoparticles of varying sizes were synthesized under microwave radiation and deposited on natural aluminosilicate nanotubes. The catalytic properties of the materials obtained in the hydrogenation reaction of benzene were studied, and the influence of ruthenium nanoparticle size effect on the activity of the synthesized catalysts was determined. Conversions, activation energies, turn-over frequency, and rate constants of reactions were defined.
