Cities are always growing and developing, leading to dynamics in most of its attributes. One of the most influential phenomena for cities is the change in its social structure that may not always be predicted or planned; an example of sudden growth is migration. This phenomenon can be reflected back to many factors (like economic or political ones), and can also have different user typologies (like internal or external migrants). An ever-emerging question concerning this topic is how much this phenomenon shapes cities – and how it can be dealt with.
