Abstract

The RSDS, a bibliographic database for rough sets and related fields, was introduced in 1982 by Pawlak. It is a powerful tool for database mining, offering functionalities such as bibliography creation, modification, and analysis. The system includes software information, biographies of prominent figures, and personal data of authors. It supports both logged-in and non-logged-in users, providing advanced search methods and interactive world maps. The RSDS also serves as an experimental platform for research, offering statistical and graph-theoretical data analysis. The current version includes updates like a new ontological search method and extended statistical analysis modules. The system has evolved since its inception in 2003, with significant quantitative changes in its bibliographic data. The chapter also presents examples of using the RSDS in scientific research and plans for future development.
