Abstract

The purpose of this study is to explore how external integrative capability (technical integrative capability and customer integrative capability) and internal integrative capability (across-function integrative capability and board-problem solving integrative capability) influence the new product development performance. We find that external and internal integrative capabilities have significant difference on new product development performance. The results demonstrate that higher levels of external integrative capability and internal integrative capability enhance new product development performance.
