Abstract

This chapter delves into the intricate relationship between the movement of the North Magnetic Pole and the thermal and radiation regimes of the Asian territory of Russia. It identifies key trends in the total ozone content and solar radiation flux, particularly during the spring months, and explores how these trends are influenced by the pole's movement. The chapter also examines the significant impact of these changes on climate warming and fire hazard in the region. Additionally, it highlights the areas where the correlation between solar activity and variations in total ozone content, surface air temperatures, and solar radiation flux is most pronounced.
