Abstract

This study delves into the dynamics of user behavior in mobile food ordering apps, focusing on the influence of usage duration on satisfaction and loyalty. The research identifies perceived advantages such as convenience, time-saving, and cost-efficiency as key factors driving e-satisfaction and continuance intention. Through a rigorous analysis, the study confirms that these perceived advantages significantly enhance user satisfaction and foster long-term engagement with the platform. The multigroup analysis reveals notable differences between newer and experienced users, highlighting the evolving nature of user satisfaction and engagement. While newer users are motivated by the novelty and immediate benefits of the apps, experienced users prioritize consistent performance and the platform's ability to meet their evolving needs. The study also challenges the notion of diminishing marginal utility of perceived advantages, suggesting that their impact on satisfaction remains consistent across usage durations for Generation Z users. These findings offer critical insights for developers and marketers, emphasizing the importance of continuous innovation and personalized experiences to sustain user loyalty. The study concludes by discussing the theoretical and practical implications of these findings, contributing to the broader discourse on technology adoption and user retention in the digital age.
