Abstract

The chapter delves into the potential of Indonesia's MSMEs, driven by Islamic philanthropy and fintech lending, to become a global halal hub. It highlights Indonesia's ranking in the Global Islamic Economy (GIE) and Muslim-friendly travel index. The author proposes the Islamic N-Tuple Helix model, which integrates Islamic Triple Helix with ICT, to create a digitally enabled society. This model, extending to Islamic Quadruple, Quintuple, and Sextuple Helix, incorporates universities and environmental considerations. The chapter concludes by emphasizing the transformative potential of this institutional arrangement for Indonesian MSMEs in the global halal market.
