Abstract

The article presents a groundbreaking tunable bandpass router for single photons, leveraging a driven three-level quantum emitter in a T-shaped double-waveguide system. By employing a full quantum real-space theory, the authors analytically derive the single-photon transmission amplitude, demonstrating how to control the desired selective frequency band and enhance routing efficiency. Unlike previous fixed-frequency routers, this design offers dynamic frequency regulation, making it a promising tool for designing high-efficiency optical transport devices in quantum communication networks.
