Abstract

The study investigates the effects of tungsten oxide on the conductivity, dielectric parameters, and density of sodium germanium borosilicate glass. High-purity powders of Na2B4O7, Ge2O3, SiO2, and WO3 were used to prepare glass samples with varying WO3 content. The results show that the conductivity and dielectric constants increase with higher WO3 content, while the density also increases due to the replacement of lower molar mass and density components. The study provides a detailed analysis of the activation energy, relaxation energy, and dielectric loss factor, offering valuable insights into the behavior of these glasses under different conditions. The findings have significant implications for the development of advanced materials with improved properties for various applications.
