The article introduces two groundbreaking schemes for generating four-photon cluster states, essential for robust quantum computing and communication. The schemes leverage quantum dot microcavity coupling systems, which offer advantages such as non-interacting photon nature and precise single qubit measurement. The first scheme employs four single-photon states and three quantum dot microcavity coupling systems, while the second scheme uses EPR states and a single-sided quantum dot microcavity system. Both schemes demonstrate high fidelity and efficiency under ideal conditions but are impacted by factors like coupling strength and side leakage rate in practical scenarios. The article thoroughly discusses these factors and compares the two schemes, providing valuable insights for practical implementation.
