Abstract

The article discusses the challenges of data collection in demanding environments such as deserts and forests using Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs). It introduces a new strategy that incorporates mobile sensors and fixed sensors alongside UAVs to reduce the burden on UAVs and enhance data collection efficiency. The core innovation lies in the use of Deep Learning trained by Genetic Algorithm (DL-GA) to optimize trajectories, overcoming the limitations of traditional heuristic algorithms and Deep Reinforcement Learning. The proposed method is shown to significantly reduce energy consumption and improve overall system performance, making it a promising solution for high-density data collection scenarios.
