Abstract

The article presents a innovative ultra-wideband (UWB) antenna designed for wearable IoT applications. The antenna is crafted from a composite material, PDMS-BaTiO3-PTFE, which offers adjustable dielectric properties and low loss. The antenna's design ensures high flexibility and conformability, making it suitable for wearable devices. It covers a broad frequency range of 2–13 GHz and maintains performance even under bending conditions. The study includes detailed simulations and tests, highlighting the antenna's robustness and compliance with specific absorption rate (SAR) standards. The results indicate that this antenna is a promising solution for future IoT wearable devices, offering a balance between performance and conformability.
