Zusammenfassung

Um die Umwelt weniger zu belasten und das Wohlbefinden der Bewohner zu erhöhen, werden die Baustoffe zunehmend nach ökologischen Grundsätzen bewertet.
Viele Produkte werben heute mit den Begriffen „natürlich“ oder „natürliche Baustoffe“ und „biologische Baustoffe“.
• Biologische Baustoffe stammen aus gewachsener, organischer Materie.
• Natürliche Baustoffe werden in der Natur gefunden.
Sinnvoller erscheint es aber von Umweltschaden Baustoffen zu sprechen- Dazu gehören vor allem Holz, Dämmstoffe, Lehm und künstliche Bausteine.
Dennoch werden natürlich Baustoffe wie Stahl, Beton, Kunststoffe usw. aber immer eine wesentliche Rolle in der Bautechnik spielen.
