Mit Wirkung zum 1. Februar 2025 wurde Sebastian Steinhäuser (39) in den SAP-Vorstand berufen. Er leitet nun den neu geschaffenen Vorstandsbereich „Strategy & Operations“, um die Umsetzung der Unternehmensstrategie voranzutreiben sowie -abläufe zu vereinfachen. Der Aufsichtsrat verlängerte außerdem den Vertrag von Vorstandsmitglied Thomas Saueressig, Leiter von Customer Services & Delivery, um weitere drei Jahre bis 2028.
