Abstract

The article discusses the significance of integrating new technologies in libraries, particularly the combination of virtual reality (VR) and artificial intelligence (AI). It focuses on the development and implementation of a Virtual Librarian Chatbot (VLC) using IBM Watson's Natural Language Processing in a VR environment. The study employs the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) to assess user acceptance, evaluating factors such as perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness, and perceived enjoyment. The research aims to understand how these factors influence user intention to use the VLC, providing valuable insights into designing more effective and user-friendly AI-VR systems in academic libraries.
