Abstract

The article delves into the vanadium extraction mechanism using the sodium sulfate roasting process, a crucial technique for stabilizing renewable energy systems. It compares this process with traditional alkali roasting methods, highlighting the higher selectivity and lower environmental impact of sodium sulfate roasting. The study includes experimental results and thermodynamic calculations, revealing the formation of water-soluble vanadyl sulfate during the roasting process. This work aims to optimize the roasting conditions for efficient vanadium extraction from vanadiferous titanomagnetite ore.
