Zusammenfassung

Unter Managed-Care-Organisationen (MCOs) werden Institutionen verstanden, die ausgewählte Managed-Care-Instrumente einsetzen und zumindest bis zu einem gewissen Grad die Funktionen Versicherung und Leistungserstellung integrieren. Neben diesen MCOs existieren Institutionen, die im Managed-Care-Umfeld agieren.
