Abstract

The study investigates the efficacy of hydromulch compositions based on recycled materials for weed control in perennial crops like peaches, vines, almonds, and artichokes. Field trials across different regions and crop ages reveal the superior performance of specific hydromulch blends in reducing weed emergence and soil evaporation. The research highlights the potential of these blends to serve as sustainable alternatives to herbicides and tillage, contributing to the circular economy.
