Welcoming at the 3rd International Symposium on Observation of the Continental Crust Through Drilling, Mora and Orsa, Sweden, September 7–10, 1987

The organizing committee of the Third International Symposium on Observation of the Continental Crust through Drilling wishes to express to all of you a most cordial- welcome to this symposium in Mora and Orsa. We extend our greetings to geoscientists and engineers from all over the world, who have come to our country to discuss the scientific results gained from ongoing projects and further plans for observation of the continental crust through deep drilling. We also welcome all accompanying persons! We are very pleased that the deep-drilling project in the Siljan impact structure has met with such great interest that so many have accepted our invitation.
