Abstract

The chapter delves into the critical factors that drive job satisfaction among employees, focusing on a comprehensive study within Zamil Corporation, one of Saudi Arabia’s premier industrial conglomerates. It highlights the significance of job security, opportunities to utilize skills, and meaningful work as key contributors to employee satisfaction. By comparing available job satisfiers with those that employees perceive as important, the study uncovers discrepancies that can guide corporations in enhancing employee well-being and overall organizational performance. The research underscores the importance of a holistic approach to job satisfaction, emphasizing the interrelations between various factors. This detailed analysis not only contributes to the existing literature on job satisfaction but also provides practical insights for organizations seeking to improve employee engagement and productivity.
