Whistleblowing in Organisationen: Wenn Mitarbeitende auf Missstände aufmerksam machen

Zusammenfassung

In vielen Fällen sind nur Insider in der Lage, Verfehlungen und Missstände in einer Organisation zu identifizieren. Zumeist sind es Mitarbeitende, die Zeugen von fragwürdigen Handlungen werden und den Mut haben, diese zu melden. Der Beitrag behandelt die Rolle von Whistleblowing für die Prävention aber auch für die Entstehung von Organisationskrisen. Neben Forschungsergebnissen zum Whistleblowing und zu dessen Einflussfaktoren und Auswirkungen, werden Möglichkeiten vorgestellt, wie Whistleblowing formal geregelt werden kann. Zum Abschluss wird das Potenzial von Whistleblowing als Strategie zur Krisenprävention und des Managements von Krisen reflektiert.
