Abstract
Despite societal changes in the past decades and their influence on the social roles of men and women, women are still underrepresented in leadership positions. Nevertheless, specific tasks and situations might even lead to an advantage for female leaders. In this interview, Alice Eagly discusses the boundary conditions of successful leadership behavior and promising strategies for creating those conditions in society and organizations alike.
