Zusammenfassung

Die digital-nachhaltige Transformation bildet eine Kernaufgabe zukunftsweisender Unternehmensstrategien. Wesentliche Einflussfaktoren digital-nachhaltiger Transformationsprozesse liegen jedoch außerhalb der eigenen Organisation. Diese unternehmensexternen Kontextfaktoren sind räumlich verfasst: somit sind sowohl Einflussfaktoren aus der lokalen Nachbarschaft oder der Region als auch nationale oder globale Entwicklungstendenzen gleichermaßen relevant. Doch wie können diese Faktoren systematisch analysiert und in Unternehmensstrategien berücksichtigt werden? Als Wissenschaft der räumlichen Analyse ökonomischer Prozesse liefert die Wirtschaftsgeographie dazu passende Werkzeuge. Die wirtschaftsgeographische Perspektive analysiert neben der Umfeldeinbettung insbesondere die Beziehungen von Unternehmen zu externen Akteuren. Die Analyse unternehmensexterner Kontextfaktoren aus wirtschaftsgeographischer Perspektive schafft so wertvolle Informationsgrundlagen für zukunftsweisende digital-nachhaltige Strategien.
