Abstract

This chapter introduces WTPAN-Net, a cutting-edge deep learning model designed for epilepsy seizure prediction using EEG signals. The model's architecture integrates wavelet convolution and parallel attention mechanisms, enabling it to capture multi-scale features and fuse local and global information effectively. The text delves into the challenges of traditional seizure prediction methods and highlights the advantages of deep learning approaches. It provides a comprehensive overview of the WTPAN-Net architecture, including the WTConv module for multi-scale feature extraction and the PPA mechanism for enhanced attention. The chapter also presents extensive experimental results, demonstrating the model's superior performance on the CHB-MIT dataset.
