Enabling the Network with Disabled-User-Friendliness

Large-scale facilities are to be established to help the under-privileged population to make their way up the education ladder and to reach out for high level employment opportunities. Tapping the vast potentials of the Internet and tuning it for this special community can show quick and effective results. In this line, we introduce the concept of ‘Disabled-aware Network Infrastructure’ that can ease the access to Internet resources, specifically for the disabled users. We present a model based on Deep packet inspection techniques and content adaptation algorithms for applying at the intelligent Networking elements. Using a sample scenario we describe how this model, upon implementation, can deliver a more disabled-friendly Internet content to a differently-abled end-user.
