Abstract
A description is given of the mechanical equipment of a new complex designed to produce sheet and strip made of precision alloys with an ultimate strength up to 1400 MPa, width up to 200 mm, and thickness in the range 4–0.1 mm. The complex consists of a two-high/four-high 320 cold-rolling mill, coil-forming unit, and strip-straightening machine. The specifications of the equipment and the products made with the complex are briefly described along with the designs of the main working mechanisms. The complex was built at VNIIMETMASh and delivered to TsNIIchermet.
