Abstract

The carrying capacity of the railway section is significantly different between emergency conditions and normal conditions. The railway transportation system will be affected to varying degrees, the types and levels of emergencies. For example, the original block mode may be degraded, due to the interruption of traffic in certain sections or the adoption of train speed limit measures, and the carrying capacity will also change dynamically with the development of the emergency. In addition, there is fuzziness in the carrying capacity under emergency conditions, due to factors such as line characteristics, train speed, signal equipment reaction time, and driver’s behavior.
