Abstract

Finanzielle Inklusion ist ein entscheidender Faktor für die Stärkung von Frauen, insbesondere in Entwicklungsländern, wo der Zugang zu formellen Finanzsystemen gering ist. Dieses Kapitel vertieft die sozioökonomischen Herausforderungen, vor denen Frauen stehen, einschließlich kultureller Barrieren, mangelnder Bildung und rechtlicher Hindernisse. Sie unterstreicht die Rolle der Mikrofinanzierung und der Selbsthilfegruppen bei der Förderung der Selbstbestimmung und wirtschaftlichen Unabhängigkeit von Frauen. In diesem Kapitel werden auch die Auswirkungen staatlicher Maßnahmen und Initiativen wie des Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana (PMJDY) und des Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (MGNREGA) auf die finanzielle Inklusion von Frauen diskutiert.
