Abstract

While electronic commerce (E-commerce) which is over wired communication continues to impact the global business environment profoundly, technologies and applications are beginning to focus more on transactions over the Wireless Web referred to as Mobile Commerce (M-commerce). With this trend, a new set of issues arises. The purpose of this paper is to focus more on the emerging technologies which attract the M-Business and to examine some of these challenges and issues in M-Commerce so that researchers, developers and managers have to focus their research efforts in these emerging domains. This paper also highlights the way to promote business, by efficiently handling financial transactions over wired/wireless communications.
