Abstract

Das Kapitel "Gendered Finance: Inclusion and Transformation" geht der entscheidenden Rolle der Geschlechterdynamik innerhalb der afrikanischen Finanzsysteme nach und konzentriert sich dabei insbesondere auf die Herausforderungen und Chancen für die finanzielle Inklusion von Frauen. Es unterstreicht die Bedeutung der Beseitigung geschlechtsspezifischer Ungleichheiten beim Zugang zu Finanzmitteln als entscheidender Faktor bei der Förderung inklusiven Wirtschaftswachstums und sozialer Entwicklung. Der Text untersucht die anhaltende Kluft zwischen den Geschlechtern bei der finanziellen Inklusion in afrikanischen Regionen und führt sie auf kulturelle, wirtschaftliche und institutionelle Barrieren zurück.
