Global Data — One-Sided Communication

Let us consider the global completion detection algorithm detailed in Chapter 6. Its implementation consists of one programming code duplicated in all the processes of a group. Each duplicate is composed of several concurrent components (threads or s_threads, see Chapter 2 for details) providing probing and postal services. Parts of the probe system were already used in Chapter 4 for illustration purposes. Let us focus here on the postal system and devise an implementation based on the software tools developed so far (see Chapter 2 to Chapter Chapter 4).
