The attitudes of Turkish consumers toward credit card usage and the approach of card issuers to penetrate the market are investigated. The better educated, higher income, middle aged members of the upper-middle class seem to be the prime target. The usage and the administration of credit cards appear to be influenced by the infrastructure of the country.
