How to Use this Book

The main purpose of this monograph is to give a detailed account of a modern macroeconometric model. We anticipate that readers will have interests in one or more of the following areas:macroeconomic policy;forecasting aggregate demand and employment, as well as interest and exchange rates, and other conditions in fmancial markets;the influence of contemporary macroeconomic theory on the process of macro modelling of an open economy; andpractical issues in the design and construction of an aggregative model for policy analysis and forecasting.
