Abstract

The combination of a Head-mounted display (HMDs) with mobile devices, provide an innovation of new low cost of human-computer interaction. Such devices are hands-free systems. In this paper, we introduced a proof of concept of our method on recognizing head movement as the controller of mobile application and proposed a new way of elderly people or disable people communicate with others. The implementation of an iHelp application on an iOS devices, shows that the proposed method is appropriate as a real-time human-computer interaction with head movement control only for communicating user need to others through mobile application.
