Integral North Sea Emergency Plan the Coordinated Approach by the Netherlands Government

To respond to emergencies on the North Sea the Netherlands Government has implemented an integral emergency plan.The concept for this plan is based on the proven division between policy and operation in decision and management.For the execution of the plan access to the available government resources is possible through the communication infrastructure and the coordination capabilities of the Netherlands Coast Guard.The resulting response is in better proportion to the magnitude and nature of the emergency and provides a more effective use of resources.
