His areas of interest include innovation systems, political economics, policy analysis and political communication and marketing. Together with Prof. Udo Weimar (professor for Physical Chemistry) and Prof. Gerhard Eschweiler (professor for Geriatric Medicine) he has been coordinating the interdisciplinary initiative Helping the Elderly to enjoy Long comPlete lives (HELP). He has been representing the State of Baden-Württemberg in the European network CORAL (Community of Regions for Assisted Living) as a delegate for the Ministry of Social Affairs, and he is a member of the Smart Home & Living Initiative established by the Baden-Württemberg Ministry of Economics. …
